Hello guys! I am finally back to writing — and boy has it been a long time. like..forever. A lot has changed in my life over the past months and i’ll post an update soon, but for now I wanted to just jump back in and get re-acquainted with my blog ๐ So I’m starting back with a weekly series that I loved — Friyay Faves, back in action.
This is were I re-count things that I’ve been loving lately – and lets be honest over the past (10 months, yikes!) I’ve got a lot on my mind. I’ll try to keep it short though. ๐
First up! Nordstrom Trunk Club — oh boy do I love this service. I used to use stitch fix but found it lacking in choices and styles that I gravitated to. Then came trunk club, about a year ago actually and I love it. the flexibility, the fact that you get 15+ items in each trunk and the easy access to my stylist are all 10/10 in my book. I’ll have a post for you reviewing my entire experience, but it’s definitely worth a mention here!
Next up, I’ve really been loving a lot of beauty items (no surprise there) over the past few months. Honest Beauty Make up remover wipes are like the *best* thing for taking off stubborn make up fast and they are definitely a go-to. I find mine at target, but you can order them online, though watch out for serious prices hikes — Amazon likes to sell them for more than is necessary. I’ve been scouting around to see if they sell them other places like Walmart or ulta so I’ll keep ya up dated.
Speaking of removing makeup, I have been really impressed with Ponds! They have a newer make up balm remover that is reminiscent of clinique’s take off the day balm but for like half the price. totally worth it. It doesn’t feel super greasy and it takes off dang near everything on my face.
Next up, I’ve been totally obsessed with Kristen Ess Dry shampoo — it’s soo good! It doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy or gross, and it smells amazing. This is another target find, and I think it may be exclusive to target, don’t quote me though. Regardless, all of her items are top notch and I’ll be playing with more for sure in the future.
From a make-up perspective, I recently received Tati Beauty Vol 1 from Tati Westbrook’s new launch and I love it! I can’t wait to play with more of the pressed glitters — but i’m totally into the layout and colors of the palette. Definitely a new every day go-to.
Finally, this is going to be totally random, but as ya’ll know if you follow me on Instagram, we recently finished renovations on our kitchen and I am in love with our drawer microwave. It’s so cool and sleek and functional! If you’re thinking of doing a reno and don’t know what to do about your microwave, I highly recommend a drawer! a little more expensive, but definitely worth it.
So I think that’s it for my friyay faves — back in action this week! I’m getting back in the swing of things, just in time for the holidays — so stay tuned!
XO,
Danielle
