Hello! Happy Friyay! I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to an even better weekend! Today I have a great list of items and things and links I’ve been loving this week! So let’s get right to it!
This Spring Cleaning Check list has so many great ideas for organizing your life any time of year! As we transition from sweaters to shorts, these ideas can help make your life run a little smoother!
This multi use “forget me not” oil from World Market.
This multi-use body oil is made of a hydrating combination of apricot seed oil and sweet almond oil and infused with real forget-me-not flower buds and vitamin E. With a subtle peach and mandarin orange fragrance alongside fresh, clean notes of green tea, this versatile moisturizer will bring a radiant glow to your hair, skin and nails. I usually use this at night before going to bed on my hands and arms. It also works great on stretch marks or other skin issues because of the infusion of vitamin E oil.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette.
This palette is a great staple to have in your makeup collection. I know that ABH cosmetics hit a bit of a snag with the subculture palette, but they got it right with this one. The mattes are a tad powdery (not nearly like subculture), but with that you get a lot of pigment on your brush, so just a dab will do ya. The shimmers and metallics are full up though and with a bit of water or MAC fix plus, they really light up and highlight your eye looks.
The Laura Lee Los Angeles Nudie Patootie Palette:
This palette combined with the soft glam palette is a makeup match made in heaven! I love the shimmers and foil shades in this palette and the lattes are pigmented and smooth. For $45 it’s a great staple to have in your makeup kit.
Briogio Volumizing shampoo and conditioner:
Guys. This shampoo is fantastic! 98% naturally derived and free of sulfates, silicones, phthalates, parabens, DEA, and Artificial Dyes this shampoo will transform your hair. Infused with ginseng, biotin, and vitamin B5 this shampoo will help strengthen your hair from root to tip and promote long-term hair growth. Maltodextrin, a natural sugar starch, visibly thickens and separates each strand to enhance volume and fullness. Plus, the sulfate-free formula cleanses without stripping, drying, or dulling hair.
To top it off, it smells like satsuma oranges, which transports you to a tropical island during your shower. So good! Give it a try, at $24 for an 8oz bottle, it’s a great price for better hair.
These striped cropped pants from Zara:
I love these high waisted pants! They’re very flattering and fitted without being too tight. I got a size small, so I think they run pretty true to size but if you like things a bit looser, size up.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation:
This past week I’ve been wearing this foundation almost every day and I was reminded how much I love it! It eliminates skin imperfections and creates an even platform for the rest of your make up. It doesn’t make me feel Cakey or over done, but it just lasts and lasts all day long. When I wear this foundation, I don’t need to touch up my face and when I look in the mirror at 6pm after wearing it for 12 hours, it looks just as fantastic as when I put it on.
As with all foundations, I use a moisturizer and a primer, so that certainly helps, but even with those things this is a matte foundation that doesn’t dry out my skin. About the only thing that I would caution is that is dries down fast, so work quickly to blend it out when you apply it.
So that’s about it for this week! Enjoy your weekend and make sure you tell mom you love her on Sunday!
Xo,
Danielle
