Hello and happy sunday! Sundays are days for lazy breakfasts and dinners that take all day to prepare…right? Wrong! haha. I mean, of course if you want to spend all day making a delicious dinner, then by all means do, but I tend to opt for the quick but flavorful and its even better if it produces left overs for the week to come. #winning
That is exactly what this recipe is, and I bet you have everything in your pantry right now to make it. Spaghetti sauce? check. Spaghetti noodles? check. some Onions and garlic? check! Ground beef/turkey/pork/chicken? check check double check. Ok then let’s get cracking at this quick 30 minutes or less spaghetti dinner.
I love using jarred spaghetti sauce in this recipe. I mean it makes it faster but the reality is it adds a lot of flavor to the sauce with minimal effort on your part — which is always great for a weekend or a week night meal!
I personal really like to use Newman’s Own Sockarooni Sauce because it’s thick and it makes it easy for you because it has mushrooms, peppers, and carrots right in the mix! Less vegetables you have to buy for your chunky spaghetti sauce! yassss.
This sauce is a also a one pot wonder — which is even better for Sunday night. Easy clean up! And it freezes so well, you can whip it up then save it for later! Can you tell that I’m obsessed?
Another item I’m obsessed with is this De Cecco Thin spaghetti. It is so freaking tasty! I used to always use Barilla pasta, and while I don’t have anything against it, ever since I started using this brand of spaghetti I can’t use anything else. It’s that good.
I just cook the spaghetti according to the directions on the box when we are ready to eat and voila! Dinner in 30 minutes or less.
So enjoy spending that extra time with your family!
