Hello and happy Saturday! Today we’re heading into spring with these pastel rice crispy treats. Easy and delicious, you can make these up for any social you have coming up (hello Easter Sunday).
Lets get into it.
- 3 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 bag regular marshmallows
- 6 Cups Rice Cereal
- 1/2 Cup white Chocolate chips
- 1 bag miniature marshmallows
- Multi color Sprinkles
Lets put it together! Start by melting the butter in a large sauce pot over low heat, add the marshmallows and wait till just melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in rice cereal, half of the white chocolate chips, half of the miniature marshmallows.
Once everything is mixed together, put the sticky mass into a lightly greased and wax paper lined 13×9 pan and press lightly with your hands to flatten the top.
Add remaining chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and sprinkles. Press lightly to secure to the top of the rice crispies.
Allow to cool completely (about 30 minutes) then cut into squares and serve!
To store: place in a wax paper lined airtight container for up to 3 days.
