Hello and happy Tuesday! Are you looking for a recipe to make for your valentine? Maybe your friends or coworkers? This cookie recipe will definitely suit all of those options!
Lets get to it.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Butter flavor
- 2 T. Milk
- 1/2 Cup Sprinkles
Preheat your oven to 350F. In the bowl of your stand mixer, cream butterĀ & sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until combined.
Next, add the vanilla and the butter flavor extract. If you want these cookies to *taste* like you used a boxed cake mix then the butter flavor extract is a must. You can usually find it where the other extracts are at your grocery store, and a little goes a long way.
Now, in a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (Flour, Baking soda/powder, salt). Add to the butter mixture & mix on low speed until combined. Follow with the 2 tablespoons of milk.
Fold in your sprinkles. I used a mix of different sprinkles, but you can use whatever you would like.
Using a 1 inch scoop, place cookies 2 inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheets and bake 12-15 minutes or until set & slightly firm.
Transfer to a cooling rack & cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Enjoy!
